"anna, enna, eppo, kalai vanakkam, Evalo, Sambar, Nalla iruka, poda, naai, pramboku, illae, niruttanga, Jayalalitha, Karunanidhi and of course Thaliava...." are the only words u need to know... and yes, drag the last word and you would have successfully framed a question in tamil...
for everything else communicate in any Language, they will understand, but its up to them if they want to reciprocate the gesture... now go and burn your useless 'Learn Tamil in 30days book'.... :)

P.S. no offense intended against my Tamil friends and relatives, this is a crash course for those who think its difficult to survive in Tamil Nadu...
